aluminium alloys. Materials refined include various forms of aluminium scrap,
dross and other wastes from the aluminium industries. JBMI services the major
UK and international automotive & aerospace markets, and have a proven
track-record of quality metal supply and flexibility in order to exceed
customer's expectations.
Up to 30,000 tonnes per year of aluminium
dross, processed through a large mill and eddy current separators, is
supplemented with 15,000 tonnes per year of aluminium scrap; this is melted in
either of two fixed-axis rotary furnaces or the newly developed TRF
(Tilting Rotary Furnace), providing capacity to produce up to 20,000 tonnes of
specification aluminium alloy per year.
